Practical Tips for Your Visit

Timing: The harvest season runs August through October and is the most energetic time to visit. The annual Fiestas de la Vendimia (harvest festival) typically takes place in August, with events at multiple wineries. Spring (March–May) offers pleasant weather and smaller crowds.

Getting there from San Diego: Cross at Tijuana's CBX or San Ysidro, take the Cuota (toll road) south toward Ensenada, and exit at Valle de Guadalupe. The drive from the border is approximately 60–70 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Getting there from Ensenada: The valley is 15 minutes by car from downtown Ensenada and approximately 20 minutes from El Sauzal.
